The Company

The EcoSan Club was founded as a non-profit association in 2002 by a group of people active in research & development as well as planning & consultancy in the field of water supply and sanitation. Currently the EcoSan Club has more than 80 members from more than 15 countries worldwide. The underlying aim is to support the realisation of ecological sanitation concepts to close material cycles in settlements. In addition to the main activities of the association - promotion of EcoSan principles, international networking, provision of information - the number of planning and consultancy projects, not only in the field of sanitation but also water supply has steadily been increasing. To retain the character of the association, in 2004 the EcoSan Club OG (ESC Consulting), who is now responsible for the implementation of water and sanitation projects, was founded. ESC Consulting is represented since 2007 by EcoSan Club Consulting (U) Ltd., registered in Kitgum, Uganda. .
